Eco-Church.

St James has a proud tradition of caring for its own environment and for being a “good steward” (looking after) of all the Earth’s resources. In recent years, as global awareness has grown, we have stepped up our green activities in response to the growing threats to the climate and environment. Having achieved our Eco Church  Silver Award in 2020, we are now working towards our Gold award. This involves installing a rain water facility for the Churchyard, installing dual flush toilets, considering more environmentally friendly heating and reviewing our electricity tariff.
