Children and Youth

Children and Families Worker

We are delighted to announce that our Children and Families worker is Zoe Martin. She works 20 hours a week, running Little Jim’s, Sunday Club, and helping with school assemblies and making sure our under 10’s are looked after and kept involved at all our main church events.

She can be contacted here

Little Jim’s

Little Jims – our babies’ and toddlers’ group meets on Friday mornings in term time from 10am til 11:30am at St James First School.   Contact Zoe

Sunday Club

For children aged 4 – 10, in the church hall during the Sunday service. We all meet in the Church for the first part of the service and then the children leave with their leaders with a blessing after the first Bible reading. You’re welcome to stay with them of course. We take a break in half terms and school holiday.

Messy Church

This is on the 3rd Sunday of the month in the Village Hall. All ages are welcome and catered for!

We start with a cooked breakfast at 10am, and there are games, various activities planned around a theme, and concludes with a short time of singing and prayers to finish off at 11:30am. This informal service is fun for all the family!

10 – 14’s

Sofa Sessions meet during the Sunday service in the church hall. They also start off in the Church and then leave along with Sunday club to come over to the Church hall for chats about stories in the Bible and issues in life (usually with a doughnut or two!). Contact the church for more details
