Children and Youth

Corona Virus

All our children and young people’s work is currently suspended following government guidance. We miss you all, and we are looking at ways to try to start things up again as soon as it is safe to do so.

Children and Families Worker

In the meantime, we are delighted to say that we are currently fundraising and drawing up a job description to employ a part time Children and Families worker for at least 3 years. If you are interested in applying, or contributing financially, please get in touch!

Little Jim’s

Little Jims – our babies’ and toddlers’ group meets on Friday mornings in term time from 10am til 11:30am at St James’ Church Hall.   Contact Holly Botto (‭07756 324182‬)

Jim’s Pilgrims

Jim’s Pilgrims – our Sunday School for children aged 3 and upwards – meets at 10:30am in the Church Hall during Parish Communion (our usual service most Sundays) on the first, fourth and fifth Sunday each month during term time. They join the main congregation in church towards the end of the service. For more information about Jim’s Pilgrims contact the church office on (07805 979 827)

Messy Church

When we start back after the virus we will be relaunching this in an exciting new way!

This begins with refreshments at 10:00am , includes various activities planned around a theme, and concludes with a short time of singing and prayers to finish off at 11:30am. This informal service is fun for all the family!

Vestry Group

Vestry Group for young people aged 10+ meets fortnightly on Sunday evenings, from 7pm – 8:30pm. The group no longer meets in the vestry but on the Church Hall, however the name has stuck! Sessions are a mixture of games, discussions, food and much more!
